I was licensed as the Assistant Priest at St. Edwards by the Rt. Revd. Jonathan Clarke, Bishop of Croydon on our Patronal Festival day on the 11th October 2020. It was a wonderful service and it is privilege for me that God’s call comes in mysterious way in a time of pandemic fears and crisis.
It was such an awesome moment when Bishop Jonathan handed me the license after I made the vows made of allegiance to the Queen and the Bishop.
I am truly thankful to the family of St. Edwards for the prayers and warm welcome to join in the worship and witness to the lord Jesus Christ through our journey of faith.
I am delighted to be a part of this journey to proclaim God’s love and build our community and serve our community. Though we cannot meet each other in having a cup of tea and chat, my heart is full of gratitude to each one of you and sure we would overcome all fears to strengthen our fellowship and serve one another in and through our prayers and love for each other
May this time of awaiting the coming of our lord Jesus Christ keep us awake, and watchful for receiving the power of love in the weeks to come as we look forward to Advent – Christmas and a New year
Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth or ever you had formed the earth and the world from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
Psalm 90:1.
God bless you all.
