Palm Sunday 2023
Traditionally in the Christian religion Palm Sunday is the day we remember Jesus entering Jerusalem on a donkey with the crowds cheering and waving palm branches.
To mark this occasion some members of St Edward Church congregation met at Central Parade and walked to church reflecting on the events of long ago and handing palm crosses to people they met on the way.
It was a symbolic act on that first Palm Sunday leading to the events of Holy Week, Good Friday and Easter Day.
